The Hangover

It's been some time since I last watched The Hangover and regrettably late, I'm glad that I had watched it. It's so full of fun and cool I can't stop laughing throughout the movies. The characters are very very interesting in which each of them will eventually got into the wrong situation while they're wasted and it'll come back to haunt them the next day.

And tomorrow, one of them is getting married.

In the first one, the bridegroom went missing. They spent the whole time, tracking their activities and running into gangsters and sorts. It reminds me of my favourite "Dude Where's My Car".

In the second sequel, they'll be in Thailand. The dentist, which normally the ones that will be the most fucked up, is getting married. They took the bride's brother for a bachelor party, just to know that they loss him the next morning.

It's so freaking hilarious by just watching the trailer and really can't wait for the movie to be out in Bluray.

Alexandria, Virginia

I was only there for around a week for work purposes. For some reason, I missed that place.

The town, the people and everything about that place is just right for people to live and work. If I get a chance to work there, I would.

Though, it can be a painful place to be come winter, but it's still a nice place. Hope to got a chance to be there again.

Mad-matics

Now this is about a cool young boy that is so brilliant he could actually understand why Einstein is actually a genius and not just take anyone's word for it. He finished high school and working on new astrophysics theory at the age of 12, enough said. More story here.

The problem is, he's family is nothing like Jimmy Neutron's. So where did this gift came from? Well, you can always accused his mother having an affair with some weird geek in a secret underground lab, but you can never rule out the fact an alien had actually turn to look like Jake's dad and starts banging the mother.

So Jake is part alien!

I can't help to think that, isn't being abnormally clever is also a form of disability. Just like blind people couldn't see, Jake can't be stupid! Now how pitiful is that? But no one seems to mind or pities him. Poor Jake.

Maybe this is a the start of human evolution? Mutation? Prof Xavier anyone? Hank McCoy (Beast)?

Problem is, why did some people just have it, while some people (like me) just doesn't have it in me? I remembered I worked quite hard for my foundation studies. I scored on physics, chemistry, biology but I got a D for my Advance Mathematics. If I got at least a B or something, I could've be a doctor or something. Which pisses me off because why the fuck would a doctor need to be good at maths? It's not that they have to formulate a maths formula to diagnose. They just need to remember the theories and facts. And I excelled in Bio.

Ok, enough time wasting. Thanks to maths, I'm now stuck to doing proposals and Gaant charts when I can actually be helping people and save lives.

You Jav to Roon It for Marseille Aren't You Hernandez?

After a feeble attempt of mind games by Marseille's Lucho Gonzales (who's this guy anyway?), he's Gon from the tournament for good. First rule of mind games Lucho, is you have to be influential enough to even have any effects on people.

HAH, in your face!

Anyway, Hernandez made him eat the humble pie and ManUtd are now cruising into the last 8 of Champions League, with the possibility of playing Barcelona. While the players seemed to be in buoyant mood and think they can take on Barca, I have doubts. Looking at how they outplayed Arsenal, I doubt ManUtd will have any real chance if they really meet Barca on the last 8 fixtures. Let's hope we meet Barca in the finals. That should leave them a little jittery, loss their plot and maybe we can poach on the chance.

After that horrendous display against Kop, the players seemed to have tried to put together a good performance. Valencia is back in the side and straight away picked up from his form before the injury with a clever reverse pass to Giggs for the second goal while Rooney's endless run created the first goal in which both occasions, Hernandez showed a real poacher's instinct by scoring both. He reminded me of the young Inzaghi though people would want to compare his clinical finishing to Nistelrooy's but he seemed a different player than the United legend.

Kudos to the team and Ferguson for unearthing another great talent. We can only hope now Berba had a good rest so that he can conjure another hatrick on the next league fixture.

Family Matters

I went to a cousin's birthday out of town last weekend. I went there with my parents and kid brother.

3 hours later, we reached the bride's house. To my delight, I saw all of my close and distant relatives that I haven't met for years.

After a short exchange of hellos and what-are-you-doing, the next thing that popped out through her mouth is "do you have space in your car to send my children back with you?"

I know I should just help out, she's relative anyway. But the fact that we haven't spoke for years and straight away asking for a favor is quite shocking. Maybe she didn't feel the gap of years between our relationship, but I do.

Relatives. You can't really rely on them.

Just ask Stanley Ho.
